Get to know the owner and founder of amazing Az homes

Q: How did you start your career in Arizona Real Estate and why?

"I was buying rental properties for myself and I ended up liking it so much that I wanted to do it for other people.  I was working for a company as an area sales manager where I covered five different states and since my twins were babies, I did not want to travel anymore."  

Q: What do you like most about working in Real Estate?

"I love teaching young people how to make money with real estate that will set them up for the future, it is something that no one taught me when I was younger so I had to learn the hard way later in life."   

Q: What would you like new customers to know about you?

"I would like them to know that I actually care about what they purchase or when they sell.  I look at every real estate transaction as if I am doing it for myself.  I will never let my clients buy a house that I would not buy myself.  I always have my clients' best interest in mind."     

Q: What is the most rewarding part about buying and selling Arizona property?

"The most rewarding part about buying & selling in AZ is making new friends while I'm working.  I recently worked with a couple from out of state.  I adore them and we will be friends forever.  That happens with all the new people that I'm referred to by past customers."

Q: Due to COVID the Real Estate market has become very competitive and fast-paced… In your professio

"Covid has created the ability for many people to work from anywhere so many people coming from different parts of the country where they could never buy a home, are relocating to Arizona creating a shortage of homes on the market.  It's a rough time to purchase for sure, however, with interest rates rising, there will be less people trying to get those properties so now really is the time to be buying.   Plus with inflation at a 40 year record high, real estate is the safest investment you can make." 

Q: What sets you apart from others in the business or how would you best describe the secret to your

"I have been very fortunate in my career as I have been referred over and over by past customers.  I try to make my customers feel like they are the only customer I am working with.  I am known to be extremely accessible – Always answering calls or texting my customers in the event I cannot answer the phone. I work seven days a week and typically 15-hour days, so I work extremely hard for my customers.  My years of experience in this business helps me negotiate the best offers for my sellers, and it helps me land the deals for my buyers, even in a seller’s market." 

Q: Being part of the Arizona community for over 36 years, how have you contributed to your community

"This year has been a little different with Covid but I try to do small group mentoring (via Zoom) with young or first time home buyers.  I grew up poor and wish someone had taught me about investing in real estate when I was their age, which is why I do it.  It makes my day when a young customer calls me to buy their “move up” home.  When I ask what they are doing with their first home and they say, “We are going to rent it just like you taught us,” that is a good day in real estate.    Every year I host a holiday party to donate to some of the local schools and organizations in the Phoenix region. I recently have been donating to the Child Crisis Center of Arizona as well.  Hospice of the Valley hosts an annual transportation day where they have over 40 unique vehicles for kids to explore.  I donated the company Limo to Hospice of the Valley so it could be a part of the free event for children to feel special for the day."
